As you enter High School, believe me, everyone will be pulling for you to do your absolute best. No one here or at your house gets up in the morning hoping to just slide by on helping you achieve to your highest potential. Like at home, everyone here will be giving all they have every day to help you. But in the end, as it says above in one of my many famous “Oehmenisms”, it has to be up to you. Your teachers will go to extraordinary lengths to see that you succeed. But you have to do the studying. You have to keep up with the notes and assignments. You have to take the tests. And finally, you have to let someone know when you need help.
Teachers don’t “give” grades - they only keep track of what you have earned. So work hard, play hard, and then work hard some more. Now is the time to be piling up great grades - not senior year. This is what you have been practicing for all these years. Good Luck!
